College Maisonneuve - Montreal, Quebec

This 4 story building is an extension of the Collège de Maisonneuve. The building holds 1000 students and offers 24 classes to those who register. The exterior panels are made of Trespa® Meteon®, as well as the elevator block inside the institution.

Trespa® is a unique product that has the ability to resist natural elements such as rain, snow, ultraviolet rays, and extreme temperatures. This lightweight material is not only durable but can be assembled in different ways depending on the preference of the final look.

Trespa® Meteon® panels in Copper Red M53.0.1 gloss were used on the College Maisonneuve project. This colour possessed the vibrance and finish that matched the vision. The gloss finish has a shimmering appearance depending on the direction of installation creating depth that cannot be found with paint.

"We were looking for a living, colorful, smooth and warping material that would enhance a facade of the building...We wanted a material that reacted optically to daylight and which offered a richness that paint does not offer. Trespa® Meteon® met these objectives and the result was in all respects in line with our expectations."
