Historical Educational Institution in North America Undergoes an Iconic Makeover

Collège de Maisonneuve is a francophone public pre-university and technical college located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This four-story building is an extension of the Collège de Maisonneuve, which holds 1000 students and offers 24 classes to those who register.

DESIGN

The variety offered of Trespa® in both color and finishes makes it easy to find the exact look to fit a project’s vision. For this project, Collège de Maisonneuve wanted something colorful and smooth to enhance the building in the daylight.

Trespa® Meteon® panels in Copper Red M53.0.1 gloss were used on the project. This color possessed the vibrance and finish that matched the creative vision. The gloss finish has a shimmering appearance and depending on the direction of installation creates a depth that cannot be found with paint. The exterior panels are made of Trespa® Meteon®, as well as the elevator block inside the institution.

DURABILITY

Trespa® is a unique product that has the ability to resist natural elements such as rain, snow, ultraviolet rays, and extreme temperatures. This lightweight material is not only durable but can be assembled in different ways depending on the preference of the final look.

At Trespa®, we believe that investing in sustainability serves a greater purpose as it will benefit the long-term position of the company. With this, it has been a priority for us to shift to an environmentally beneficial product that creates additional value and minimizes the environmental impact of our operations and products.
